About us

Artidor Explosion Safety B.V. was founded in 1986 and is specialized in the development and production of explosion-safe products. Thanks to our extensive knowledge of explosion safety and many years’ experience in engineering and R&D, Artidor is one of the most innovative companies in the market. Flexibility and quality are paramount in this.

In our well-equipped workshop, Artidor’s specialists design customized explosion-safe solutions, usually based on existing products. They ensure that all the original characteristics, such as the well thought-out design and the product’s ease of use and installation, are retained as much as possible. If necessary, also the ATEX and IECEx certification for the product is arranged through a Notified Body. A number of these unique explosion-safe products are introduced to the market as Artidor products and are available from stock.

As well as the custom solutions, Artidor develops and manufactures products for clients who put them on to the market under their private label. Thanks to our experience and systematic approach, these projects are well-managed and offer our clients new opportunities on the market.

Corporate Social Responsibility at Artidor:

Working Together for a Sporty and Healthy Future

Swimming club Thalassa

At Artidor, we believe in the power of corporate social responsibility and active contribution to the communities in which we operate. We take pride in our involvement in local initiatives that promote health, well-being, and social cohesion. We do not do this through our business operations only, but also through collaborations that have a positive impact on the region.

One example of this is our partnership with Thalassa swimming club, Thalassa is the swimming club in the Geldrop–Mierlo, Heeze–Leende region. This partnership is a great illustration of how we practice Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Artidor supports Thalassa because we believe in the power of sports, as a means to strengthen both physical health and social connections.

Thalassa swimming club aims to promote and make swimming accessible to local residents. The club offers a wide range of swimming activities for all ages and performance levels. Whether it involves competitive swimming, water polo, synchronized swimming, or aquakids, Thalassa has a place for every swimmer. The club has sections for both recreational and competitive swimming, playing a vital role in promoting a healthy lifestyle within the community.

What particularly appeals to us at Artidor is Thalassa’s emphasis on sportsmanship, team spirit, and enjoyment. Although athletic performance is certainly important, Thalassa finds it equally important to create a culture of cooperation and respect. These values strongly resonate with our company philosophy because we believe that a positive and inclusive culture is key to both personal and collective growth. Thalassa not only provides its members with a safe and motivating environment to practice their sport, but also ensures that everyone—from young beginners to experienced swimmers—feels welcome and appreciated.
