With our custom-made solutions, Artidor offers the opportunity to have a single product or a small series of products made explosion-safe. Artidor has a professional workshop where the optimum protection method against ignition can is determined. In this, we take account of the original characteristics so that the well-thought-out design and ease of use, installation and maintenance are retained as far as possible.

As qualified expert in the field of explosion safety, Artidor takes care of all the legally-stipulated tests, assembles the Technical Construction File and arranges certification in conformity with European Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX 114).

For products of categories 1 and 2, a Notified Body is approached for the certification. Through our years of experience, our large network and good preparation, we are able to keep the project’s lead time short. For products of category 3, including gas- and dust-containing environments and for both electrical and non-electrical equipment, Artidor as qualified expert takes care of the certification. The final result is a CE-marked explosion-safe product, ready for sale or installation.
