With our custom-made solutions, Artidor offers the opportunity to make a single product or a small series of products explosion-safe. Artidor has a professional workshop where the optimum protection method against ignition is determined. In doing so, we take into account the original characteristics, ensuring that the well-thought-out design and ease of use, installation, and maintenance are preserved as much as possible.

As qualified expert in the field of explosion safety, Artidor takes care of all the legally-stipulated tests, assembles the Technical Construction File and arranges certification in conformity with European Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX 114).

For products of categories 1 and 2, a Notified Body is approached for the certification. Through our years of experience, our large network and good preparation, we are able to keep the project’s lead time short. For products of category 3, including gas- and dust-containing environments and for both electrical and non-electrical equipment, Artidor as qualified expert takes care of the certification. The final result is a CE-marked explosion-safe product, ready for sale or installation.
