The Artidor AR-090 label printer is based on the ZT411 series of industrial printers by Zebra. They are the result of over 50 years of innovation in thermal printers.
The IP54 basic version of the AR-090 label printer is suitable for an environment in which dust fibers and electrically non-conductive dust cause an explosion hazard. An overpressure system was selected for use in environments where gas or electrically conductive dust poses a hazard. Due to the slight overpressure, no gas or dust can enter the housing.
The AR-090 has a broad range of application. A suitable AR-090 is available for every environment where category 3 equipment must be used. The printer is used in very diverse production processes that require application of a sticker, e.g. in order to record the product’s production date, the batch number or the traceability.
The AR-090 label printer is available in a model where the labels are printed on a contiguous strip. If needed for a particular application, there is also an AR-090 label printer with a cutting mechanism; it cuts the labels, after which they are collected in a catch basin.
The housing of the explosion-safe printer is made from 316 stainless steel and complies with the latest explosion-safe standards. The AR-090 is sold to customers in the (petro)chemical, pharmaceutical and food industry.
